Top things introverts love

When you tell others you’re an introvert, they might think you’re this quiet, shy, boring person. When yet, that’s far from the truth.

As an introvert, I find that I love some things that others or extroverts would never do. These things might not be the norm, or might seem weird, but in an introvert’s heart, these things are super comforting. And also, super dope! So, here are some of those things:

I can’t speak on how much I love being alone. I rather stay at home than to go out to a party or something super busy. I rather work by myself than in a group. Why? It’s because us introverts feel drained after a lot of socializing, especially if we’re around people we don’t really trust. So, we prefer to escape into our inner mind, in our favorite place. It is alone time that allows us to have our most creative ideas, dreams, and ideals. Time alone for introverts is a necessity, just like we need food, a roof over our head, and clothes on our backs.

Because we’re in our heads so much, we have many creative ideas. We might not say these ideas out loud, due to the fear of being shut down, or fear of judgement. As an introvert myself, writing has been really helpful for me to get my ideas out there. While I’m writing, there aren’t other people influencing my thoughts, or telling me I can’t do things. Also, sometimes I can’t verbally communicate my ideas perfectly, so writing helps. I know other introverts who use graphic design, photography, drawing, painting, music, dance as creative expression.

Relaxing at home is something I love to do. I love to sit at home and watch shows or videos on YouTube. Or even, research a topic I’m interested in for hours. This is basically a perfect day for me. Other introverts love to read an interesting and thought-provoking book, or simply binge watch their favorite shows on Netflix or Hulu.

So, these are some of the things I love as an introvert. I know I can’t enough of these things :). I would love to hear what some of the things you love are. Leave a comment down below and share with a fellow introvert. Thanks for reading!
